This article was published in the Orlando Sentinel today. I have been trying to get a job for over 2 years. But since I am 52, have COPD, use oxygen 24/7, cannot drive and at the moment am homeless, no one will even give me an interview. I have a college degree, have worked for years in the IT and automotive fields, I have been a mid level manager, a wrecker driver. The article states there are a lot of good jobs in Orlando. Employers want experience, youth and willing to work for minimum wage. You cannot support a family on minimum wage!
